A few helpful patent links, some very well known,
some not so much....
- Patent2Pdf.com — Another
site for downloading copies of patents, assuming you know the
patent number or patent publication number. Generally faster,
somewhat more reliable, but only one download at a time.
- Xyggy.com — I
haven't actually tried this one yet, but it supposedly is good
for searching for patents which are similar to a patent you
already have in hand.
- FoundPersuasive.com — In
their own words: "FoundPersuasive is a rapidly expanding
compilation of template arguments in response to various patent
prosecution issues, articles on intellectual property topics,
tutorials, presentations, and links to other helpful patent
prosecution sites and materials. In the near future, the addition
of checklists for common prosecution tasks (such as analyzing
an Office Action) and helpful tips for application drafting
is planned."
