The following is a partial list of my projects
writing scripts for training, marketing, and motivational videos:
- U.S. Naval Medical Command
I wrote several scripts, including: The Enemy Bacteria,
a motivational video that instructed Naval corpsman to use proper aseptic techniques
prior to
and during surgery; and Laboratory Testing Procedures for HIV,
which taught some of the early techniques (Eliza and Western Blot) used to
test
for AIDS.
- U.S. Naval Imaging Command
Scripts for the Naval Imaging Command included: The Montgomery
GI Bill, for a motivational video to persuade young solders
to sign up for their educational benefits; and Professional
Ethics for Marines,
for a video which dramatized U.S. Marines facing a variety of situations
where their moral conduct would be put to the test.
- U.S. Army
Several scripts on packaging technology for the Army's School
of Military Packaging Technology, based in Aberdeen, Maryland.
- Bell Atlantic
Accept No Substitutes; this was a rewrite of
an existing video, explaining why vendors should use Bell Atlantic's
pay phones rather than phones offered by competing pay phone
companies.
- IBM
IBM's 9332 DASD, a script for a marketing/informational
video about IBM's (then) state-of-the-art high speed, mainframe
disk drive device.
In additional to the above, I
have authored several screenplays and stage plays.
